|Tiger Woods Arrested on DUI Charge|
Just when things look like they couldn’t get worse for our old friend Tiger Woods, they did.
Woods hasn’t been in the golf world, competing, for quite some time. Last time he competed was at the Dubai Desert Classic on February 3rd.
Back pain was the cause of his opening-round 73, which he withdrew from the tournament after that.
He’s only made three worldwide starts over the past two years.
His back has been a huge concern for him lately, promising returns to the game of golf which seems every other week and never seems to be able to play.
Well, this all snowballed up when he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Woods was arrested late Monday night in Jupiter, Florida. He was booked into the Palm Beach County jail that same morning at about 7:18 a.m.
Other than the fact he plays terribly, when he does play, maybe there is a bigger problem in Woods' life.
Golf was such a huge part of his life and now he has been away from it for so long, he may be struggling to keep his routine down.
The game of golf doesn’t necessarily need Tiger Woods anymore, but it would be great to see one of the best golfers of all time to be back and competing without excuses of his back.
Woods recently came out with some comments about his golf game, as he felt the public pressure for sometime of comment.
“But, I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again. Presently, I’m not looking ahead. I can’t twist for another two-and-a-half to three months. Right now, my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me. I am concentrating on short-term goals.” Woods said on his website about playing professional golf again.
For him winning again, who knows. For now, we just get to look at this brutal mug shot of the once dominant golfer.
